Roland Air Spray is looking to hire Water Truck Driver- Warehouse & Yard Assistant for the 2025 Season.

Position Details

 

Summer employment (April – Oct -Start and Finish dates are negotiable)

 

Wages in accordance with company pay schedule and individual skills and experience. On job training is provided. Safety and PPE equipment is provided.

This position is unique, exciting and requires a very dedicated, enthusiastic team player!

Under the direction of the Rogator Operator and Grounds Manager, this position provides support to the Ground Spraying Operations. The work requires significant attention to detail and safety. Employee must be willing to work long and flexible work shifts, that include weekends.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate Tandem Water Truck

- Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform mandatory maintenance to equipment including basic   troubleshooting
- Prepare for custom application agricultural pesticides according to the customer’s work order
- Drive to and from customer locations on public roads
- Transfer bulk products from trailers and trucks into the spreader/sprayer
- Ensure the accurate completion of associated paperwork

- Work in the warehouse assisting customers with loading and unloading purchases

-Organize the Warehouse and Track Inventory
- Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority
- Previous experience operating farm equipment or heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently
- High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience working in farm/fertilizer operations would be considered an asset

Grounds Crew - Mixer/Loader

Roland Air Spray is looking to hire Multiple Grounds Crew - Mixer/Loader positions for the 2025 season.
 

Summer employment (June – Sept -Start and Finish dates are negotiable)

 

Wages in accordance with company pay schedule and individual skills and experience.  On job training is provided.  Safety and PPE equipment is provided.  A great position if you are a student looking for summer employment, with opportunity to return in following summers. New pilots interested in AG aviation are also encouraged to apply!

 

This position is unique, exciting and requires a very dedicated, enthusiastic team player!

 

Under the direction of the Grounds Manager, this position provides ground support to the aerial operations. The work requires significant attention to detail and safety. Employee must be willing to work long and flexible work shifts.   

 

Key Responsibilities:       

  • Maintenance of the aircraft; clean windows, fuel aircraft, mix chemicals and water.

  • Ensure enough chemical and water is on hand.

  • Operate forklift -Mix and load agricultural protection products into aircraft/ground sprayer.

  • Ensure work site is cleaned up daily.

  • Ensure the needs of the Pilot are met. 

  • Ability to work long and flexible work shifts.

  • Must work well under pressure and with little or no supervision.   

Competencies:                 

  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving ability.

  • Dependable and pro-active.

  • Good interpersonal skills able to work in a team environment, as well as on your own. 

  • Results-orientated.

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license an asset but not required. 

Education/Experience: 

  • Knowledge of products being used an asset but not necessary.

  • Willingness to learn.
